Tiffany Jones Photography

Born 1973 in Canada and lived awhile upstate in New York before moving to London in January 2006.

I studied photojournalism in college, then focused on street photography for a number of years. Recently my photographic interests have changed somewhat (since mid-2009), and these days my approach is often more interpretive than documentary.

I am a committee member of London Independent Photography, a group founded in 1987 to encourage photographers to develop a personal, expressive approach in their work. From January 2007 I have edited the website, interviewing a number of photographers for the online Showcase as well as for the group’s magazine.

In late 2009 I took on the role of Editor of fLIP magazine, with Spring 2010 being my first issue. London Independent Photography has published a print magazine since 2000 and on taking the position of Editor I implemented the development of a new title and updated format, which has been an exciting process. Stockists include a number of major galleries and photographic bookshops in London and beyond.

I also do commission editing for independent photographers making books or planning exhibitions.
